Hey! Krit here. So I guess I should preface this, this originally started off as just a little tidbit I wrote for my "main" alterhuman circle, I kinda wanted to like, let em know a bit more about me and this whole system I know I am a part of but let's just say it's kinda grown to it's own things now.

I felt that given how many folks in that circle felt a bit of a calling to my own views, maybe others in the alterhuman space will be able to connect to this too.

Honestly if I even make you just think about this for a moment I'll be more than happy to say I did my job!

I'd like to also thank Page, the con chair for Centaurus Con, all the folks over that Con in 2024 especially the panel speakers, and any other alterhumans that slip my mind right now for partly giving me the budge to want to write this down, share it with the circles of alterhumanity, and hopefully reach someone.

Without further ado, here's pretty much an explanation of my personal connection with being a deity, and what I do know of myself. Hope it resonates with you, inspires you, or anything of the sort!

Right. I guess first thing I'll do is do some explaining.

What is the truth?

So this is the shpiel I usually give.

In the beginning there were the First. They could create, they could destroy. The first were deities, they had the ability to anything they set their minds to. Each of them had their own quirks and preferences but in the end they were all creators.

The First created the Second, their companions. They could not create, they could not destroy. The second were the first's loyal companions, there to keep the first company, to help them whatever they needed. They were fleshed out, and capable of many things, but lacking in the deity abilities of the first.

Then the First created the Third, their helpers. They could not create, they could not destroy. The first created the third to serve as servitor of sorts. Single programed beings who served a single purpose, be that what it may be. From simple tasks as cooking, to grander tasks as art and music. They served the first faithfully.

One day, the third had enough. They rebelled against the first and to a degree the second. They overpowered the first in numbers and locked them away in worlds of their making, in bodies not of their own, limited by flesh, making them forget their true origins, making them forget the truth, and leaving the second lost and alone to a degree.

Where do you fit into all this?

I am a first. My name is Kritlekro. Usually I dont need a last name but if ever needed I've found Van'Lekro sufficient. I am a usually in the form of a dragon. I am a shapeshifter, much like the other first before me. Who else are the first? I don't know.

What about the Second?

Those would be what many consider 'characters'. From media, of my creation, those are all considered the Second.

And the Third?

Many call them demons in many beliefs. Those are the Third basically put. Single focused servitors.

What exactly do you do usually?

I enjoy wandering.
I enjoy learning.
- Especially enjoy amassing knowledge.
I enjoy communing with the second.
I enjoy creating more than destroying.
I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have, and guiding others however I can.

How do you commune with the second?

Usually I try and focus hard on them, and let them flow into my thoughts. It feels feint. I've never really managed to fully feel them.

How many second do you usually talk to/keep around?

At the time of writing (March 4th 2024), 66. No I'm not always actively with them. They have their own lives to live, and many come and go.

What are your goals?

'Lose' myself to the truth
- As in, accepting who I am fully and able to let it flow.
- Keeping the second always near, and communing with them easily.
Be myself more often without a mask to hide behind.
Help and share others on their paths through the aetherial.

Right so, to preface, the following section is mostly personal interpretation. The only other first I personally know shares this sort of thinking, but take it at face value since it's the experience of two first. What works for me might work differently for you. Try stuff out, the first are a tapestry of many different deities with their own goals and aspirations, so who knows maybe you do things differently.

The Tower, The Vessel, and such

Right so you may find me talking about the Tower, and the Vessel.

The vessel I think is a fairlyish, ish, common term around alter communities (Least ones I been around) to refer to your well, human body. Your flesh bag!

If it isn't well, I use it a lot myself, it's a word that makes sense to me so, feel free to use it too!

I'll first explain the Tower.

The Tower (First's dwelling)

So. The Tower is honestly, subjective.

The main idea is, each First tends to have this need to connect with spots/locations where the connection between universes, realms, etc, is strong. Tears between worlds so to speak, locations where the spiritual connection is strong.

The Tower is my own personal and my mate's dwelling. It's literally a tower of stone, where we keep building onto it to accommodate our and the Second's needs.

Now the big thing about it is, I know this Tower exists. It's out there. Somewhere. I feel a connection to it, and at the same time you could see it as a say, headspace of sorts?

It's basically a kickoff point for myself to connect with my vessel. To connect with the second. To explore worlds. Anything and everything of the kind.

Second come and go from here, second tend to poke their heads in here and I even let em pop into my vessel if they so want. It's something I still need training with, it's always feint. (Blame years and years of wearing a mask too hard).

The Vessel

I mean it's kind of self explanatory. The Vessel is the flesh bag that holds you. It can be shared, it can be solo, it really depends on what ends up working best for you.

In my case, this Vessel can be shared. It takes a loooot of doing right now, it's not like what you see some systems out there doing where it's almost like instant change. In my case I even don't know if I'd call it proper plurality at all.

I know I have what many could call a headspace, I simply call it my home, The Tower. I know I have what many could call headmates or the like, but to me they are simply The Second.

For me, the connection has been shoddy. Imagine say a grainy staticy TV. You can still see the picture, but it's just feint, and some times the audio doesn't really work. So for example some times I can get clear as day instant connections to the second's voices, and some thoughts, like they're right here next to me. Other times I need to go out to their worlds, maybe go look for them to actually have em get to the Vessel. And since wearing a mask for too long too hard makes your alter senses weakened (Least for me did) it can be tricky really. Sight is slightly hard, sound is hard, all the senses either come as fuzzy or such.

But yeah basically, from the Tower, any second, or heck any first I guess (thought only two including me remain there now) can pop in and assume control of my vessel. But since the connection isn't clear, it usually takes a lot of doing.

Interesting facts about the Tower

This is more so for fun to let you get an idea of how it's like in the Tower.

So, the Tower is made of stone, it's pretty tall and huge. It has a lot of rooms for each second, it's on an island that is always stormy with purple lightning. It's usually perpetual night.

It's got mostly untamed forests out there, letting myself wander around it now. Or well looking out to the distance as I write this.

Yeah. We have a little farm just off the side, one of our Second tends to it. Outside there's woods stretching as far as the eye can see, next to the Tower just a bit away there's a beach as well.

Admittedly I haven't really explored much of it outside of this general area but yeah that's an idea for you lot.

Another fun fact is while there are 66 Second as previously mentioned, their rooms aren't always occupied, of course. Some come and go, and there isn't one room per second. Some second actually share rooms. Such is the case for say Fang and Harmony, a second from Media, and a second of my own creation. They both have similar interests so they tend to bunk together!

Right so that's what I got so far, I can honestly keep going later on and I'll just constantly be updating this file! Hope you enjoyed what little I got so far to say.
